One filter at a time

Change that is sometimes immediate and always lasting

Through God’s blessing, we’ve distributed over 309,000 household water filters in the past 15 years.

That huge number is built one filter at a time, to individuals and families with their own pains, hopes, and dreams. The following stories give you a glimpse into how God’s Spirit uses clean water to bring gospel hope and change lives, now and forever.

When a Forrester Can’t See the Trees, the Forest, or the Truth

Thailand is about 95% Buddhist—it's not easy to see people come to believe in Jesus. But that doesn't deter Pai. He's ready to talk to anyone, like a reluctant forrester whose eye has been injured on the job and doesn't want to follow his wife into believing in Jesus.

Jackson Mudd was a junior at the University of Auburn when he attended a Christian campus group and heard about a Filter of Hope mission trip to Dominican Republic. A previous mission trip with a different group had been a great experience for Jackson, but his spiritual life to this point had been up and down and confusing.

“I never expected brothers and sisters from North America to come all this way just to bring us the message of salvation through Christ. That fills me with energy.”
