About this ministry

A water filter ministry partnered with local churches.

Filter of Hope is a 501(c)(3) Christian nonprofit that gives household water filters to families in material poverty and partners with local churches for Gospel-centered outreach.

Founded in 2012 and based in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, we use a proprietary, portable filter that makes up to 250 gallons of clean water a day for 10 years.

We send short-term mission teams to work alongside a permanent network of local churches. Together they distribute filters, share the Gospel, and keep discipling families across Latin America, the Caribbean, and unreached people groups in the 10/40 Window.

We work through established ministry bases in each country, so the work lasts, both physically and spiritually.

How families receive our filters.

From mission teams. Teams travel to communities and work alongside our in-country staff and local churches. They install filters, teach families how to use them, and share the Gospel in each home.
