How do I fundraise for Filter of Hope?
Click Start your fundraiser. Choose a goal, pick an end date, and write a short message for your donors. Add a profile picture, your name, and email, and you're fundraising.
Can I raise funds for my Filter of Hope mission trip?
Yes, just not with this page. This page is for providing filters directly to families. Your Trip Coordinator will set you up with your trip's team page, which has its own easy fundraising tool.
How do I tell people about my fundraiser?
Start with the people closest to you by text, phone, or email, and share your link. Then post it on social media. Be you, and share why you're doing it. Post early and often.
Will I know when someone donates?
Yes. You'll get an email every time someone gives, showing your progress toward your goal.
What if someone wants to give without a credit card?
They can mail a check with a note naming your fundraiser to Filter of Hope, 1400 Jack Warner Pkwy NE, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404. We'll add it to your page.
What's a good fundraising goal?
Pick an amount that feels attainable and challenging. For some that's $250; for others $2,500 or more. You can raise your goal anytime.
What if I reach my goal early, or don't reach it?
Celebrate and keep going! 100% of extra funds go to clean water. And if you fall short, every dollar still helps a family in need.
Can my group fundraise together?
Yes. One person starts the fundraiser and shares the Manage My Page link so everyone can follow your progress.
Can I change my goal or end date?
Yes. Click Manage My Page in your welcome email, then Edit Fundraiser, make your change, and click Update.
